It's aim is assist Australian agricultural scientists to use their skills for the benefit of developing countries, and at the same time, work to resolve Australia's own agricultural problems. ACIAR facilitates collaborative research on high-priority problems in developing countries and Australia. This is achieved by linking Australian research institutions with overseas research groups.
